This paper provides a new improved multidisciplinary optimization algorithm with better performance and discusses its application for aircraft synthetic design. The new iterative framework combines linear quadratic (LQ) optimal control method, structures, aerodynamics and propulsion to design synthetic optimal problem, which reduces redundant system analysis, avoids local optimization, and improves the traditional design method which separated aerodynamic design and control method. Using the method of diagonal convergence, improved algorithm can accelerate the convergence speed and ensure that the sensitivity matrix does not tend to be singular.
