Oscillators can directly convert light energy into spectrally pure microwave and millimeter wave signals. Although these approaches offer significant advantages, they provide several challenges for practical implementation. With regards to the hybrid acoustic/electro-optic resonator, it is easy to oscillate and has good frequency stability. The technology is very suitable for the long distance monitor, long distance oscillation control or remote sensing.EI
