One pilot block is proposed to accomplish the channel estimation for single carrier FDE systems with transmit diversity for the sake of bandwidth efficiency. The pilot block design is given and the channel estimation algorithm is proposed. A time-domain windowing operation is used to decrease the estimation noise. Computer simulation results are given to validate the channel estimation and system performance.EI
