The electrolytic treatment of simulative wastewater containing Acid Orange 7 (AO7) was investigated using a three-phase three-dimensional electrode reactor. Experimental results show that the stable treatment efficiency can be attained in this system after the continuous electrolysis for 5 times during batch experiments. Moreover, the removal rates of color, CODcr and TOC for AO7 simulative wastewater can be fitted with the first-order kinetic equations. More electrochemical active substances, such as H2O2 generated in the three-phase three-dimensional electrode reactor, result in the higher treatment effect for the removal of AO7, in which the removal efficiencies of color and CODcr are about 30% higher than that in the two-dimensional one...
