Recent advances in Ziegler-Natta catalysts for propylene polymerization were reviewed. Especially development of new internal donors, namely 1, 3-diether, succinate and 1, 3-diol diester, and performances of related catalysts were discussed. Research progresses on propylene polymerization process, including Spherizone process of Basell company, Borstar process of Borealis company and application of supercritical technology in olefin polymerization, and advantages of these processes, were centered on.
