The generalized differential equation of typical pollutant removal models for constructed wetlands could embrace existing models as special cases proposed previously by other investigators. Moreover, The transitional models between the existing models are got with varying structural parameters. Thus, the characteristic of pollutant removal in different types of constructed wetlands are compared, which is significant to future studies on pollutant removal models, pollutant degradation processes and its mechanisms.EI03302-3071
