The characteristic of the 3D data model was discussed, and the technique of hybrid 3D data model for orebody simulation was considered to be reasonable. According to the idea of raster and vector data integrated analysis system, a proposal, the Solid-Volume-ARTP (SVA) model was applied to orebody modeling, and corresponding conceptual model and logical model was also designed. 8 geometrical elements were also attracted, and related data structures were designed. VC + + and OpenGL were used as programming language, the 3D visualization model system of orebody was established, and the 3D orebody's modeling was established by the model of SVA, which can express the inner and the outer information of the orebody.EI05522-5263
