According to the requirement of the amplitude frequency and the linear phase characteristics for the television image intermediate frequency signal processing, an electronic circuit system of the finite impulse response (FIR) digital filter has been established. The digital filter has been simulated with MATLAB; its electronic circuit system has been proved correctly with EDA tools (MAX+PLUSII). The frequency sampling method has been applied to design the FIR digital filter. The simulation experiment results have arrived the designed requirements of FIR digital filter.
