A low power and wide frequency range CMOS signal detector for high speed data link/transceiver is presented. Square law of MOSFET is utilized to detect peak to peak signal voltage with low power and high speed. The proposed signal detector is measured within frequency range of 200MHz similar to 3.5GHz, consume 150 mu A current, and can extend to higher frequency (The simulation result show that it can work at 10 Gb/s). It is suitable for high speed data link and other applications such as RMS power detector. The signal detector is fabricated in 0.18-mu m CMOS technology over an area of 154 mu mx132 mu m.http://gateway.webofknowledge.com/gateway/Gateway.cgi?GWVersion=2&SrcApp=PARTNER_APP&SrcAuth=LinksAMR&KeyUT=WOS:000319824700290&DestLinkTyp...
