Christianity and Christians in Beijing Today - A Case Study on Sociology of Religion by Professor Gao Shining is a positive practice in religion phenomenon study after the author's theory research in sociology of religion for many years. Based on the field research in Gang Washi Church of Beijing Protestant Committee (through the quality and quantity research methods), the author provided us a full and vivid image of Christians and Christianity in Beijing. However, because of the gap between theories of religion and social research method, this book is only a preliminary study.
