Cyclophilin A (CyPA) is a ubiquitously distributed peptidylprolyl cis-transisomerase (PPIase) that possesses diverse biological functions. Extracellular CyPA is a potent chemokine, which can directly induce leukocyte chemotaxis and contribute to the pathogenesis of inflammation-mediated diseases.
