Abstract

A novel type of chiral layered supramolecular copolymer with high molecular weight has been assembled from a hydrogen bonded C-6-symmetric zinc porphyrin hexamer and chiral C-3-symmetric pyridine hexadentate linkers driven by multivalent zinc porphyrin-pyridine coordination.
