A robot system for multistage turbination glass-curtain wall cleaning on high control tower of an airport is designed. Although some robots have been developed for wall cleaning and inspection, but there was few successful robot for curve wall because of it needing more capability in acclimatization and more reliability. In this paper, a robot which can meet the requirements of the curve glass-curtain wall cleaning is developed. In order to enhance the reliability of robot and reduce the weight of the robot, a method of separating locomotion is adopted.
