A Study on Result-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System in Mongolian Public Organization:a CASE of Anti-Corruption Agency

The study is conducted with the objective of assessing of the environment in whichimplementation process of Result-Based Morutoring and Evaluation system is taking place within the Mongolian Public Organization To assess the situation, a case study iscarried out in one Public Organization, which is named Independent Authority Against Corruption of Mongolia.Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is a powerful public management tool that can beusecl to improve the way govemments and organizations achieve results. Just asgovemments need financial, human resource, and accounr:ability systems, governmentsalso need good performance feedback systems. The goal of this study is to help prepare to plan, design and implement a results-basedM&E system within Independent Authority Against Corruption of Mongolia. Alsodemonstrate how an M&E system can be a valuable tool in supporting good publicmanagement The focus of this study is on a comprehensive ten-step model that will help the process of designing and building a results-based M&E system.Finally, few recommendations have been proposed going by the conclusions drawnfrom the analysis undertook.Keywords:Mongolia;Anti-conuption agency;Monitoring and Evaluation system;Conuption;Public Organization.
