The integrated resonator fiber optic gyroscope (RFOG) using a hollow core photonic bandgap fiber (HCPBF) is realized. The coupling structure of the resonator is designed and fabricated based on the micro-optical structure. The definition of the resonator is experimentally measured to be 3.7. The gyroscope system based on this kind of resonator is constructed and its responses corresponding to the stationary and rotational states are tested experimentally. The results show that the maximum observed peak to peak drift over a 60 s measurement and the long-term drift over 1 h measurement are 2.45 (??)/s and 7.11 (??)/s, respectively.
