Stereo vision reconstruction is an unresolved and hot research topic in the fields of computer vision and photogrammetry. The conventional techniques are mainly based on a limited field of view (FOV), which results in the problems of blind areas and insufficient overlapping degrees. Though panorama is able to show a 360-degree field of view, it performs poorly in precision. In this paper, we present an innovative measurement vision system on the strength of binocular spherical panoramas.
