In 3GPP long term evolution (LTE) uplink, SRS is an important signal which primarily used for channel quality determination. However, in the multiple-beam satellite environments, the inter-beam and intra-beam interference should be considered, which may break the orthogonal of SRS from different user equipments (UEs), leading to degradation on MSE results for channel estimation. In this paper, we analysis the adaptability of SRS in the multiple-beam satellite system, calculate the available capacity of the existing SRS and propose some solutions to the interference problem. Some simulation results are proposed to prove the flexibility analysis results. ? 2011 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. All rights reserve...
