In this study we proposed a decision fusion method based on the weights of evidence model for land cover classification using multisensor data. The proposed method was evaluated in land cover classification over an urban area using Landsat TM and ENVISAT ASAR data. The results showed that the proposed method effectively combined multisensor data in land cover classification and obtained higher classification accuracy than the use of single source data. ? 2011 KIEES.EI
