Prevention and management of erectile dysfunction after laproscopic radical prostatectomy

Radical prostatectomy remains the standard treatment for men with clinically localized prostate cancer. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common complication for patients who underwent radial prostaectomy (RP). The incidence of ED after RP varies dramatically between 20%-90%. With the introduction of nerve-sparing technique in RP and penile rehabilitation in early period after RP, erectile function can be preserved in many patients.
