To explore the clinical diagnosis and surgical treatment of pelvic solitary fibrous tumor (SFT).The data of nine cases of pelvic solitary fibrous tumor from April 2008 to February 2012 were reviewed retrospectively.There were 7 male and 2 female patients in this group with a median age of 56 years, of whom 6 were asymptomatic. Their CT showed the tissue density was inhomogencous. Multivisceral resections were performed in 5 patients. Microscopically, the tumor cells were shuttle-shaped, short spindle-shaped or round, and mitoses was rare, immunohistochemistry: CD34, CD99, Bcl-2, Vimentin positive rates were 100%.
