The paper presents the polymerization of AAM initiated by Ce4+ (ceric ammonium nitrate, CAN), Mn3+ (manganese (III) acetate, Mn(OAc)3), and the effects of additives such as AA and its derivatives on the rate of polymerization (Rp) and also overall activation energy of polymerization (Ea). The results of the end group analysis of polymers, determined by atomic emission spectrum and UV spectrum, further proved the mechanism of initiation reaction that was proposed previously by the authors.SCI(E)EI0161348-13523
