This article shows that the short hairs of sensilla trichodea on both Antheraea have the third receptor cell which is sensitive to E-4, Z-9-14:Ac. Distribution of the three types of receptor cells in the short hairs are compared in order to investigate the relationship between receptor cells and the pheromone system to combine behavior and model studies and to elucidate the roles of the compounds in chemical communication.SCI(E)EI0171475-14803
