Add to ORKGThe atomic structure of the Si(111) 7??7 surface was investigated using the improved kinematic low energy electron diffraction approach in conjunction with the constant momentum transfer averaging technique (KLEED/CMTA). After optimizing DAS (dimer adatom stacking-fault) and DACS (dimer adatom-cluster stacking-fault) models, the authors got the optimum DAS model which produces calculated spectra in remarkably good agreement with the experimental curves. All the structural parameters of the model were given.EI02118-1221
