The failure handling and the failure recovery are the key parts of workflow management. A workflow model based on object is introduced. And the strategy of failure handling and failure recovery is given under the proposed workflow model. Compared with the traditional method, the new strategy take into account both the control dependency and the data dependency between workflow tasks during the failure handling and the failure recovery. What is more, how to implement the workflow task application is explored to improve the efficiency in the failure handling and the failure recovery.EI05776-7821
