In order to evaluate the performance of AQM (Active Queue Management) algorithms, we present an analytic model based on an extended GI/M/1/N queueing system and the self-similar traffic of the Internet. Using this model, we analyzed the performance of three AQM algorithms (TD, RED and GRED).
