Photonic Band-Gap (PBG) can achieve band elimination filter entirely depend on its structure, and its structure is very simple. So it has good application prospects in the fields of microwave circuits and microwave antennae. In this paper, the hybrid method of finite element method incorporated with Floquet theorem is used to solve the 2-Dimentsional scattering problem of dielectric PBG upon which a plane wave is oblique or perpendicular incident. The computing method efficiently reduces the computational complexity and required memories by exploiting the periodicity of PBG. With different dielectric and geometry parameters, visual image of electric field of incident and scattering wave have been made based on simulation results. Comparison...
