In order to study the impact of node mobility upon cooperative communication, an Amplify-and-Forward (AF) cooperation model was established. Using bit error rate (BER) as a metric, the cooperation parameter was defined. Compared with Alamouti and direct communication separately, cooperative communication achieved its upper and lower bound. The simulation results show that, under the same channel conditions, the performance of AF cooperative communication is far superior to direct communication, but is poorer than Alamouti communication. When S-R channel has good performance, as long as S-D and R-D channel satisfy certain conditions, the AF cooperative communication will be superior to Alamouti and direct communication. ?2009 IEEE.EI
