Nanowire arrays of CdS were fabricated with the method of injecting the solution of cadmium acetate and thioacetamide into the pores of anodic aluminum oxide by pressure different ferentiation. The thioacetamide was used here as the precursor of H2S to ensure the reactantscould reach the proper reaction site before the mineralization began.
