The aim of the VALID project is to design and set up a data archive in which old, current and future data can be brought together, and to set new standards for future data collection. This will broaden and redefine the research agenda in language and speech pathology and the emphasis on a multitude of data will trigger multidisciplinary studies. The research groups involved have agreed to continue their efforts to create the VALID data archive and are supported by their research institutes. All data sets will be available for other researchers and additional research.; ; ; ;All participants were given the Frog Story booklet prior to writing the story. They could go through the entire story and were told that they had to write the story on the computer. They would not have to remember all the pictures, since the pictures would appear again on screen, one-by-one. After the subjects had gone through the Frogstory booklet, they were placed behind the computer. A written instruction would appear on the screen which explained the task. ScriptLog (Holmquist et al, 2002) was used as a tool to measure the online writing process.
