Here, Maria Tadeu presents the Aikanã hijepɨi flute. The hijepɨi is a panflute with four pipes. Nordenskiöld (3, Taf. 43) noted among the Huari (Aikana) a panflute with three pipes and it is not clear whether these are referring to the same. Similar panflutes were in use among the Mampiapä in the Mequens area (see Snethlage 1939: 28)
