This thesis studies the process that leads from digital 3D acquisition to the creation of virtual models intended for architecture and archaeology. It begins with the study of 3D acquisition techniques used, the lasergrammetry and architectural photogrammetry, and follows with a detailed comparative analysis of these devices, based on multiple experiments carried out during collaborations between the MAP-CRAI and the MAP-PAGE . Then, a study on architectural morphology is approached around its typological and architectonic alternatives, followed by the theoretical questions raised by 3D modeling and more specifically architectural modeling.
