This work is focused on the design and fabrication of a new print head for biological sample deposition to elaborate DNA biochips. Biochips allow to analyse and to detect thousands of DNA samples (or proteins) in few hours. Biochips fabrication consists in arranging biological samples in form of spots on a solid substrate forming a microarray. Among current fabrications techniques, pin microarrayer is a simple and versatile recognized process. This process is based on direct contact between thin pins and the biochip support.
