aThe tensile-shear hot spot welded joints are used in the automotive industries subjected to the cyclic actions. The intrinsic characteristic of actions changes the analysis. The initiation crack is located in the base metal and heat affected zone due to high and low loading values, respectively. The tensile-shear hot spot welded joints with one, three and five spot welds are chosen to find fatigue life based on volumetric approach for both high cycle fatigue and low cycle fatigue cases.
