Remediasi Miskonsepsi Materi Pemantulan Cahaya Menggunakan Simulasi Flash Pada Siswa SMP

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of flash simulation to remedied students misconceptions on light reflection in grade VIII SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The method of this study was a pre-experimental design by used one group pre-test post-test design. The study sample were 31 students of VIII A grade have chosen by intact group technique. The technique of data collection was multiple choice of diacnostic test by used modification Certainty of Response Index analysis. The result of analysis showed that misconceptions were 23,04% falling. The result of the cohen\u27s d effect size calculation was 1,156 (high category). Effect size calculation of test indicator calculated by proportion value; 5 test indicator had high effectiveness, 1 test indicator had medium effectiveness, and 1 test indicator was not effective. It showed that flash simulation was effective for remedied student misconception of light reflection.
