Kajian Emosi Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Pesan dari Sambu Karya Tasmi P.s.

The background of this research is the anxiety to find out any emotions that exist in the novel of Pesan dari Sambu by Tasmi P.S. The reason of choosing the investigation of emotion is because emotional intelligence gives significant influences in determining both someones success and attitude in life. This research uses descriptive method in form ofQualitative form by psychology behavioristic approach. The technique of data collecting uses documentary study. The tool of data collectionutilizeshuman, whichthe researcher herself is the tool or key instrument. The technique of data analysis in this researchis clarifying or groupingthe data according to research problems,that is positive and negative emotions of main character. The source of data is novel Pesan dari SambubyTasmi P.S. Based onthe data analysis, this research results a series of conclusions as follows. (1) The positive emotions of main character in the novel of Pesan dari Sambu by Tasmi P.S. are love emotion, delightful emotion, and happiness; (2) The negative emotions of main character in the novel of Pesan dari Sambu by Tasmi P.S. are worry or concern emotion, fearemotion, angry emotion, and sadness emotion
