Perbaikan Metode Kerja Untuk Meningkatkan Produktivitas Dengan Menggunakan Motion Study dan Penerapan 5S (Studi Kasus: UKM Sukses Karanganyar)

UKM Sukses is part of efforts in the fields of industry welding serving construction iron and the like. The environmental condition in workstations cutting & bending, assembly, and finishing have not managed well too and there are movement that is not affective in the process of making the seats. Improved method of working with motion study and 5S done to deal with the problem on industrial welding iron in UKM Sukses. Improvement was to get a better method of work a short period of completion. Tools used the left and right hand chart. The result showed improvement by means of change the layout, balancing movement both hands, removed the unemployed and looking for. Repair method of working with motion study and 5S has the potential to improved productivity by the saving of time is 49%
