Pengembangan Karakter Disiplin dan Tanggung Jawab Siswa Melalui Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di SD Negeri 02 Kemuning Karanganyar

This research aims to describe: 1) Describe the implementation of character development of discipline and responsibility through extracurricular scout at elementary school of 02 Kemuning Karanganyar. 2) Describe the obstacles to the implementation of character development of discipline and responsibility through extracurricular scouts at elementary school of 02 Kemuning Karanganyar and 3) Describe the solution to overcome barriers to the development of discipline character and responsibility through extracurricular scout at elementary school of 02 Kemuning Karanganyar. This research uses qualitative research type. Data collection techniques with observation, interview and documentation. Data validity with triangulation. Data were analyzed interactively. The results show that 1) Scout activities that develop the character of discipline and student responsibility: a) Ceremony to develop discipline discipline and conduct positive activities following the ceremony according to the rules. b) Learning the material Dasadarma and Trisatya in its activities to develop discipline work with responsibility and conduct positive activities. c) The United Nations develops the character of discipline and responsibility to obey rules because it concentrates on carrying out the instructor's instructions. 2) Barriers to the implementation of scout activities: a) Lack of personnel coach. b) Characteristics of students are still unstable. c) Weather factor. 3) Solutions from obstacles Scout activities are: a) Swap schedule builder if have a sudden interest. b) Scout activities interspersed with game / pat-pat so that students are interested to follow the activity. c) If rain activities continued in classrooms III and IV
