Sociocognitive time management and time construction processes are defined and illustrated within the framework of interactive systems to access knowledge. These results emerged from the observation of in situ practices. They are discussed using concepts from both Psychology and Communication Science. Research questions for Information and Communication Sciences are derived from this study. It is assumed that there are points in common with cognitive psychology concerning the time media topic.
