The plagues that affect the sugar cane cultivations (Saccharum officinarum), are of the most important causes of loses in the field, not only during the growing process but also during harvest and final product as well. One of the most important we find the common name Blind Chicken (Phyllophaga spp.) wire worm (Agriotes spp), spittle bug (Aeneolamia spp), stem borer (Diatraea crambidoides).
