The Colchicum L. is a well-known plant genus with several species being used as a drug. The plant has also an importance containing toxic substance. Colchicum burttii Meikle, a winter geophyte, is a local endemic species for Turkey. Its flowering time is between January and March.In this study, the morphological and anatomical features of the endemic Colchicum burttii were investigated.
