The project explores the production of revisionist discourses in postwar Nicaragua. The task is to ‘read’ both the literary strategies operated as well as the political performances staged by these discourses to actively ‘intervene’ the conflictive scenarios generated by the termination of the Sandinista Revolution (1979-1990) and the subsequent ‘reenter’ of the post-revolutionary nation into the global market economy. The research working hypothesis suggests that intervening these conflictive scenarios presupposes the articulation of a diversity of narratives and performances at once contesting and propositive.
