Multiple acyl-CoA dehydrogenation deficiency (MADD) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder due to defects in the electron transfer flavoprotein (ETF) or in the electron transfer flavoprotein dehydrogenase (ETFDH) enzymes, involved in the mitochondrial electron transport chain.
