The problem of the “deferred” completion of the façade in the ancient architecture must be considered as a true reconstruction that establish a special relationship between pre-existence and the new addition. Several churches can be reinterpreted using some of the original drawings in order to evaluate language choices made by architects of the past. This is the case of the San Lorenzo church in Montedinove (Ascoli Piceno). The completion of its main front never started, so, through video-projection is possible realize a virtual fulfillment, in order to restore and amplify the cultural, historical and symbolic values of the ancient architecture
