PELAYANAN ANAK AUTIS DI LEMBAGA AUTIS CENTER BENGKULU

Services are a series of activities as a continuous process undertaken by the institution and the community to achieve a goal that has been set. In this study aims to describe the services a child with autism in the Autism Center Institute of Bengkulu. It is known that children with autism is a disorder of children who have neurological disorders and complex problems that affect aspects of child development, especially patterns of behavior and language of children. In Bengkulu there is only one institution that facilitates the handling of children with autism is Autism Center Institute of Bengkulu. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Informants in the study of 5 people who are determined to Purprosive Sampling techniques. Data retrieved through the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on research that found in the Autism Center Institute of Bengkulu in mind that the services provided to children with autism has been running quite well. It is seen from 7 services supplied are first categorized Good service is Submission Results Assessment, Psychologist and Medical Outcomes. There are four categorized services, please: 1) Administration, 2) Assessment, 3) Grouping and Scheduling classes, and 4) School (SLB). While there are two services which are categorized Less Good because there are 3-4 problems that exist, namely 1) Scheduling Assessment and psychologists as well as 2) Consulting Psychologist and Medical Examination. There is a recommendation that researchers gave for this research that should be the role of the good cooperation between parents, the community, government and discipline that can provide input into service improvement.
