DC-DC converter is one of the simplest and most widely used converters in controlled power applications such as cell phones, laptops, communication systems, and many more devices. This study aims to design and analyze the performance of a buck converter with different types of compensation. The compensation used in this research is Type 2 Compensation, Type 3 compensation, and PID compensation. The overall system with the converter and the compensator is simulated using Matlab-Simulink. The designs are validated using the control loop transfer function and analyzed in the frequency domain using Bode plots.
