This research is aimed to know does the increasing of studetns’ physics literacy ability who get problem solving laboratory learning model better than students who get conventional learning on heat and temperature. This is Quasi Experimental research with nonequivalent Group Design. The variables in this research include independent variable is learning with problem solving laboratory learning model and dependent variable is the increasing of students’ physics literacy ability. The Subject of this research is all of students X IPA SMA UII Yogyakarta in academic year 2016/2017. The experiment class is X IPA A and the control class is X IPA B.
