Background: Little data is available on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) of children in Germany at the age of school enrollment. Objective: The aims of this study were to investigate the HRQOL of children during school enrollment and to determine its predictors with a special focus on environmental factors. Methods: Analyzed data stem from the fifth survey of the Health-Monitoring-Units (GME) conducted in Bavaria. The survey collected data in 2010/2011.
