Laboratory experiments were conducted at Flådevigen Biological Station in 1976 and 1977 to describe growth of juvenile shrimps at different temperatures. 160 shrimps were divided into two groups and kept in aquaria. The temperature varied with the temperature of the incoming water between about 6 and 11°C. The difference in temperature between the two groups was kept at about 2°C for most of the period. The shrimps used in the experiments were hatched in the laboratory about 6 months before the experiment started. The total length of the shrimps was measured at each moulting.
