Internet and sexuality in Morocco, from cyber habits to psychopathology

A\ud large part of Internet users of different ages and from all over the world do\ud use\ud \ud it\ud in order to get and consume pornography, meet sexual partners or plan for intimate\ud relationships.\ud \ud In\ud \ud Morocco,\ud sexuality itself is a great deal since living one’s sexuality is dependent\ud on\ud \ud religious\ud \ud and\ud social determinants of individual freedoms, sexual education and empowerment\ud of\ud women.\ud \ud The\ud aim of the study is explore Internet misuses, sexual abuses initiated or totally\ud conducted\ud \ud through\ud \ud Internet\ud in Morocco as well as couple issues and the concept of faithfulness,\ud hypothesizing\ud \ud that\ud Moroccan\ud \ud people\ud \ud use\ud and misuse internet the same way worldwide, but with\ud very\ud few\ud \ud means\ud \ud of\ud protection against potential offenders. We found that nearly a third of people\ud interviewed\ud \ud during\ud \ud the\ud study\ud \ud confirm\ud that they regularly consume pornography on Internet,\ud with\ud an obvious gender difference, that half under-18 years old interviewed teens have for at\ud least\ud once undressed in front of a webcam, or sent naked photos of them to unknown cyberinterlocutors,\ud \ud \ud and finally, that sexual assaults in the Internet are as frequent as sexual assaults\ud happening\ud in the real life, with possible and frequent connections between risky behaviours on\ud line\ud and real life sexual assaults
