Styles SJ (2018) 'Where have all the vowels gone? Vowel systems in British and Singaporean English' (dataviz). <br>This dataviz was created to show how Singaporean English sounds different from other kinds of English. The vowel formant data represent the first reported data for Singapore, and a British sample from around the time that Singapore became independent from British colonial administration. The dataviz was created for ‘An Ape’s Guide to Human Language,’ taught by Prof Primate at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Data sources:<br>Deterding, D. (2003).
